Many cyclists are not aware of their responsibilities and the laws they need to follow. Whether you’re a new cyclist or just getting back on your bike, this workshop is a good way to learn how to safely ride for work or recreation.
The Bike Safety Workshop is taught by an instructor certified by the League of American Cyclists. Participants will learn the basic rules of the road, helmet fitting, riding safely on roads, planning for your ride, how to fix a flat, and “quick checks” to do every time you get on your bike.
Attendees do not need a bike to participate in this free workshop. It is available for corporations, libraries, civic groups, schools, scouting groups and community organizations. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
