JFK Primary School in Raritan awarded Bike Racks for Bike to School Challenge

Two children riding bikes.
Emmalee and Nolan from the JFK Bike Train

Congratulations to the JFK Primary School for winning our Bike to School Challenge! The JFK Bike Train logged a total of 205 miles for the month and had 17 participants, including the principal himself, Aldo Russo. The school will receive a free bicycle rack from Pops Bike Shop for their hard work and effort.

These two pictured riders, Emmalee and Nolan, represent the JFK Bike Train that began back in 2016. During the challenge, Nolan rode 54 miles to school in 14 days, and Emmalee rode 44 miles in her 11 days that she rode to school. Congratulations to these two riders for logging the top mileage and trips to school! They each will receive a safety swag bag and a gift card to Pop’s Bike Shop in Somerville. Congratulations again JFK Bike Train, Emmalee and Nolan!

Note: This article has been edited for corrections. It originally incorrectly stated that JFK School was in Manville, when it is in Raritan.
