NJ Transit Bus Services
NJ Transit operates seven public transit buses that serve Somerset County.

Reduced Fare Program:
Senior citizens (62 years of age* and older) and people with disabilities can save one-half or more of the regular one-way fare through NJ Transit’s Reduced Fare Program. Passengers with disabilities must show their valid NJ Transit Reduced Fare ID or Medicare Card to the bus operator, light rail vehicle operator, or train conductor while senior citizens can present any valid form of ID.

RVCC students are offered 25 % discounts on NJ Transit monthly passes:
Students taking at least 12 credits receive a 25% student discount on NJ Transit monthly passes through the NJ TRANSIT Mobile Student program at Raritan Valley Community College. This can be used for rail, bus, or light rail. Learn more at RVCC’s website.
Access Link - NJ TRANSIT
Access Link is for people with disabilities who are unable to use the local fixed route bus. Access Link service was developed to comply with the paratransit regulations of the ADA and is comparable to the NJ TRANSIT local fixed route bus system. In order to use Access Link, riders must first apply for eligibility. If you want to apply, call 973-491-4224 and select option #1 to request a date for a telephone interview between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
NJ TRANSIT 114/117
NJ Transit 114 provides local bus service from Bridgewater to New York Port Authority. The 114 travels along Route 28 and Route 22 on weekdays and weekends.
