NJ TRANSIT RESTORES FULL SERVICE ON M&E AND GLADSTONE BRANCH

All NJ TRANSIT Service Will Operate on a Regular Weekday Schedule Friday, March 18; Regular Weekend Schedule For Saturday and Sunday

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT crews working around the clock have successfully completed repairs to the extensive storm damage in the Maplewood area earlier than anticipated allowing full regular weekday service to resume on the Morris & Essex Line (M&E) and Gladstone Branch beginning tomorrow, Friday, March 18.  On Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20, the M&E and Gladstone Branch will operate regular weekend service.  The Montclair-Boonton Line will also resume regular weekday service tomorrow after providing enhanced service to accommodate M&E customers.

Morris & Essex Line & Gladstone Branch:

Morris & Essex Line and the Gladstone Branch will have all trains restored to the regular weekday schedule beginning tomorrow Friday, March 18 and regular weekend schedule this weekend Saturday March 19-20.
