Drive Electric Earth Day: Rise of the Gen Z Electric Driver

Calling all GenZers!  If you’d like to learn more about electric vehicles (EVs), join our Drive Electric Earth Day webinar, “Rise of the Gen Z Electric Driver” presented by the Central Jersey Electric Auto Association in collaboration with Raritan Valley Community College and RideWise.

All ages are welcome to register for this free webinar on April 15, 2021, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT. Central Jersey Electric Auto Association (CJEAA) President Stanislav Jaracz will present with Gen Z electric vehicle student drivers, Nihar Trivedi (Carnegie Mellon) and Paige Greenfield (RVCC), Anthony Assuncion (CJEAA member) and Sara Heller (RVCC Automotive Tech Instructor).

“Rise of The Gen Z Electric Driver” topics included in the hour are EV basics, total cost of EV ownership, incentives, earth stewardship, green jobs future and more.

This event is one of many online and safe in-person events across the country where electric vehicle owners and government and community leaders are raising awareness of the many benefits of electric vehicles.

Through its new EV Coalition, RideWise is working with Somerset County partners and stakeholders to expand Electric Vehicle adoption and infrastructure and welcomes student participation.  Community outreach and education on EVs, including youth EV education, is one of the Coalition’s focus areas.
