We’ll also highlight initiatives happening in Somerset County communities that have earned points for Sustainable Jersey’s NJ Smart Workplaces and Mayor’s Wellness Campaign actions. Leanne McGowan, Business Development Manager, RideWise
Passionate about workplace wellness, Leanne works with Somerset County’s NJ Smart Workplaces on community and workplace wellness, including Mayor’s Wellness Campaigns, sustainable transportation, and commuting alternatives. Leanne also coordinates EV test drive events and EV charging lunch-n-learns for our corporate and community partners.
David Kois, Business Advocate / Sustainability Director / Deputy Zoning Official, Hillsborough Township
Hillsborough Township’s Business Advocate, David Kois, is a New Jersey licensed professional planner, certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners and a certified Zoning Official from the Rutgers Center for Government Services. David holds bachelor degrees in Sociology from Montclair State University and Planning and Public Policy from Rutgers University, Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. He has worked for Hillsborough Township since 2011 and has served in various capacities of employment including Business Advocate, Sustainability Director, Deputy Zoning Officer, Deputy Planning Director, and Zoning Officer. David’s prior experience includes serving as executive board member and managing the finances of a non-profit organization.
