In August 2025, RideWise Inc. partnered with the Bridgewater Police Department and the Township to conduct a Street-Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign; the first to be conducted within Bridgewater. This initiative was launched in response to Bridgewater’s history of pedestrian–vehicle crashes, including several resulting in serious injuries and fatalities. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of pedestrian safety following a fatal crash on Union Avenue (Route 28) near the intersection of Finderne Avenue, where a driver struck and killed a pedestrian who was trying to cross the street.
