Sarah Chelli is RideWise’s Senior Community Engagement Specialist. Sarah is bilingual and works to make our educational material accessible in both English and Spanish. She is responsible for managing programs that advance community health and expand equitable access to safety resources for Somerset County residents, including older adults, youth, and underserved communities.

Some of her specific responsibilities include managing programs for middle and high school students on pedestrian, bicycle, and driver safety, and delivering transportation education workshops to diverse audiences such as senior centers and health centers. Sarah is also a member of several advocacy groups, promoting and educating the community about safe and sustainable transportation options.

Sarah is passionate about addressing the social determinants of health and looks for opportunities to connect RideWise with various organizations in the community like schools, health agencies, food banks, and human services. In her free time, Sarah can be found reading, traveling, learning how to crochet, and trying out new restaurants, especially in downtown Somerville.
