Sean Castellano is RideWise’s Sustainable Transportation Specialist and Data Analyst.

He is responsible for supporting bicycling and walking programming, sustainable transit use, and clean air and clean community initiatives.

Sean manages safety and demographic data analysis, reporting, and visualization through use of County and State databases, RideWise audits, and community inputs, with a special focus on vulnerable demographics, including older adults, low-income and overburdened populations.

Through this research, he identifies trends and opportunities for community outreach and events. Additionally, he utilizes GIS (Graphic Information System) and interactive mapping to supplement and enhance programming efforts, performs speed sentry, air quality monitoring, and conducts EV charging studies and surveys to implement infrastructure and provide recommendations to government and local entities for enhanced health and safety.

Sean looks forward to maintaining and creating new opportunities to connect RideWise with local philanthropic and community organizations, to address inequalities among residents and commuters. Outside of work, you can find Sean at a Rutgers football or basketball game, volunteering at his Church and County Library, running, and spending quality time with family and friends.
